Hosting and Backups

Our website is hosted by Xneelo, part of the Hetzner group, with servers located in Germany. The website is backed up daily, with backups retained for thirty days.

Access Controls

Access to the website administration area is restricted to a small number of authorised individuals and is password protected.

Data Collected Through the Website

Our website does not store personal data. When a visitor submits a contact form, the information is sent directly to the relevant member of our team by email and is deleted within thirty days. No personal data is retained on the website itself.

Payment details are never collected or stored through our website.

Third Party Tools

Our website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, and Rank Math for search engine optimisation. Embedded YouTube videos may set cookies on your device. These are the only third party tools in use.

Insurance

Marshall & Stewart carries full commercial insurance, brokered by Brown and Brown and backed by Aviva Commercial. This covers stock, property, trading liability, damage to customers’ homes during delivery, and injury to visitors on the premises.

In the event of a data breach or security incident, we would act immediately in accordance with the guidance of the Information Commissioner’s Office. We are registered with the ICO under registration number ZA793480. You can find further guidance at ico.org.uk.
